I love being a mom!  I struggle with balancing all of my roles (mom, wife, woman, friend, global person, etc), but try to laugh at myself as much as possible. 

I am actively involved with a playgroup in my area and it is great for the kids as well as for the moms...sometimes I'm not sure which group gets more out of it...probably the moms! 

We make a point to go out for a Moms' Night Out and have a "book club" (Occasionally  we even read the book) every month.  We all look forward to those 2 nights out.  We have even planning a Moms' Weekend Away!!

At the request of several people in my life, I have recently created a website that is focused on educating parents or anyone who drives young children on how to install an infant car seat properly.  The statistics are frightening...almost 95% of infant car seats are installed wrong or misued!!  It's info that we should all revisit every few months.
