I am an Ohio native, transplanted to a Chicago suburb. I have been married for 31 years, but will always be a worry-wart mother. Life is good. I have been blessed with 4 lovely children, who are good friends to each other. What more can I ask for. I work with 5-6 year olds and love it. I tutor kindergarteners with their abc's and sounds and sight words to prepare them for kindergarten. I also work with a brownie troup. I think that they keep me young (until I have grandchildren to fill that spot).

Okay, here goes: 10 things about myself! 1. I cry watching movies. My husband doesn't get it. 2. I love to cook. I try to figure out what is in a recipe and make it and of course, try it out on my family. I also have to do all of the grilling. My husband just wants to eat food, not cook it. 3. I love to read books. That's why I am so devoted to my job of helping "at-risk" little ones with their ABC's. 4. I am really bad at starting projects and not finishing them. 5. I love music. Most anything, but hip-hop, etc. I sing in my church choir and sometimes cantor(lead the congregation). It makes me feel very close to the Lord. 6. I have lived in nine places in my life and am glad that this is probably my last stop. I love my friends, my job, my family. This is a great community(most of the time). 7. I am terrible at riding a bike. I am always the slowest one. 8. An ideal day is being out in nature with my family. Like strolling through the botanical gardens or going to Ravinia (outdoor music theatre) and picnicing with family and/or friends. Every year my husband and I dance while Tony Bennett is singing under the stars. What a natural high. 9. I am so proud of all of my children. They are all special in their own way. None of them are shy. They are all outgoing and would do anything for someone in need. Great kids. 10.I drive a Jeep Liberty and love it. My family doesn't like riding in it. But when I am driving it on the highway, I feel 20 years younger. Bumps and all!
