I am hard on those close to me, but I don't have expectations of them that I don't have of myself. I am a perpetual student, always reading, studying, learning...the world is limitless. I LOVE music and art, reading, painting and writing poetry are my passions. I am also a computer/techno GEEK! I am passionate and intense...I am an artist(watercolors, oil, acrylic, pottery, clay sculpting) & poet. I have an art studio in Port Huron that is located in a warehouse that I share with 2 other female artists. We're called "The Shop on Whipple Street". I absolutely LOVE my life!
I am fiercely loyal to my family and extended family. My sister, Darline, is my best friend. Dysfunctional? Of course, but show me a "normal" family. We fight, we argue, we forgive, and we love...all with intensity, it's who we are. My family has always been "different" anyways, it comes with having deaf parents I guess. I am mom to 4 incredible children. Ryan and Jacob are 16 & 15. Elizabeth and Maddison Grace are 10 and 8. I also have 2 grown step-kids, Michael & Tina, from my first marriage and a step-grandbaby, Rylan aka "Punky". I love my kids so fiercely. Anyone hurts them...look out!
