  • Who I am at this moment

    I am the offbeat mom of 5, plus "adoptive" mom to 4 more. Their mom was one of my  bestest friends and she passed away a year ago this past September.  We have formed a tight-knit unit and I love them like they are my own. (I always have anyways) We are currently trying to blend both families together and it is going very well. I love to bake, aspire to someday start scrapbooking, love to read, love my cellphone (ask my kids!), and enjoy meeting all the wonderful moms on this site. I have the memory of a gnat, unless it is something super important, I have a heart of gold and I try to find at least one positive in every situation, even if it is means saying at least those shoes matched the outfit. LOL!

    Hey now! I take no responsibility for your illness! I don't even wanna take responsibility for my own kids' illness...

    Do you have the flu-flu or stomach flu? We've been passing the stomach flu around for over a week now. I'm so sick of puke and diarrhea. Being a mom is so NOT glamorous sometimes!

    I guess you must have eaten to much turkey and now you can't get to the computer. LOL I hope your Thanksgiving was super. Mine was nice and quiet no drama as expected with my sister.
    I didn't buy a darn thing on black Friday.
