  • Personal Statement

    My name is Kathryn, I'm 24 living in Colorado Springs, Colorado and I am engaged to the most amazing man on the planet.  Ulises and I are expecting our first child, a baby girl named Hailey Jade, on November 26, 2008.  I work part time as a sales associate and shipment processor at Victoria's Secret and hope to work up until the baby comes.  I absolutely love animals, especially pomeranians and exotic cats.  I can't wait for the day when puppy mills, pitbull/dog fighting, and exotic animal poaching cease to exist.  I also love photography though to be honest, I enjoy my time in the darkroom (or did before I got pregnant) more than taking photos!  My favorite season is fall, as I just love the weather and colors and scents.  I am crazy about decorating for holidays and they give me a great excuse to bake!

    I am glad that even though it wasn't exactly what you planned on, everything went smoothly. She is just adorable!

    I guess there is no question now about being induced or not on monday, or your doctor being on call on thanksgiving...
    AND she gets to be there for everyone to see on thanksgiving, how exciting!
    Congratualtions Kathryn, you and Ulises are going to be great parents. and I bet she is gorgeous! <3

    You are VERY welcome. With the horrible statistics for "unnecesareans," ANYthing I can offer to help moms avoid possible problems & complications. When we put the baby first, we sit on our hands, waiting to be shown when it's Time. ;-) --oh, I just remembered another to share with you...
