My name is Adriane and I am a mother of two biological girls and two stepchildren.  I had to grow up really fast when I became pregnant with my first child at 16.  I didn't graduate from high school but ended up getting my GED when I was 20 years old.  Because of that fact, I still sometimes feel like a failure.

I eventually found a career path that I don't know how much longer I am going to be on.  It is not safe and everyday when I walk out the door, I wonder if I am going to make it home safely that night.  I hate not knowing.  I have a home business that I started 2 years ago because I was on maternity leave with my second child.  When I went on maternity leave, after the first two months off, my paycheck was cut in half.  I didn't want my husband to have to work his butt off to make up for what I wasn't bringing in.  Now my ultimate goal is to make enough money with my home business to be able to replace my income and stay home with my two daughters.

I met my husband when I was 21 and never knew that we were going to end up together, married, with a baby and a family.  I feel very blessed.  I found that when I stopped looking, that was when the right man came around for me.  I love him tremendously.  I am happy.  I am proud of my family.

I am happy to have found cafemom.  I like the friends that I have made so far and hope to make many more.
