aloha~so i was born and raised in nj and moved to hawaii about 14 yrs ago.i have been through many changes in that time,but my mission in life is find a way to live in harmony with the Earth,and leave a healhtier place for future generations.i met my husband here on the big island and we are in the process of building a sustainable energy home and organic farm.this past year has been very challenging.My husband was injured on the job and has been out of work for almost a year.Last june we had our first unplanned pregnancy(my 4th)and as thrilled as we are now,it was 9 months of fearing how we would manage taking care of another person.i do believe that everyhting happens for a reason,and we are never given more than we can handle-even though it may feel at times we are sinking.i have an online business(www.hamakuahomegrown.com)selling sustainable fiber products that i design and handcraft,and am trying to find time to redo my website,and figure out how to get it out there without spending a fortune on advertising.any ideas you may have about that would be appreciated!another issue i am strugling with is i had my oldest child bfore i met my husband,and unfortunately,he is not allowed to see his biological dad.he has alot of issues that we deal with daily,and now that he is 12,hormones are kicking in and exacerbating the problems.he is so hard to be with!
