  • Personal Statement

    Until last year, I thought I was doomed to a life of nothing but pain and suffering. The only good in my life for the last twenty years have been my husband and children. The rest has been nothing but a constant struggle. All that changed in August 2007, when I experienced first hand what that dark night of the soul actually was. Now today, I can honestly say that I beat a lifelong depression without medicine and counseling. Life is an amazing gift that I am grateful to have.
