On LIfe - I'm living "Happily ever after", with the love of my life, my husband of 24 years. We have 5 grown children and 10 grandchildren who range in age from newborn  to 15.  And yes, I'm a very young grandmother!  I have my health, a job I love, several very good friends, 2 dogs and a house in the mountains. What more could a person ask for? My life has turned out to be much more then I ever expected. I have been truly blessed. I am a friend of Bill's. (His writings taught me to live life on life's terms, one day at a time). I tend to be a workaholic and did I mention that I love my job? I have a very off beat sense of humor and I love a good joke. I'm afraid of heights and the water. (Probably because I can't fly and I can't swim!) I have expensive taste and a great love for all beautiful things, especially JEWELRY!

On school - I was not a great student in school and I'm sorry to say that I was a bit of a trouble maker. (Hence the Villa Loretto School For Girls). For various stupid reasons I dropped out in the 9th grade, but went back to school when I was pregnant with my 3rd child.

On college-I'm working on receiving my college degree "piece meal". I have been a student at both Orange County Community College and Sullivan County Community College. At one time I worked a full time job, a part time job and went to school part time. Boy, I really burnt myself out! Now days, I've learned to take things slower. I'm not in school right now, but every now and then the "urge to learn" comes over me and I enroll in a class or two. It may take me a while, but I'll get there.

On work- I absolutely love my job! When I was a kid, I thought that I would become a nurse or a teacher. (You know, the traditional women's jobs) :) I am now the Service Plan Writer for an organization that treats mentally ill, chemically addicted (MICA) clients. I have been the Service Plan Writer for about 4 1/2 yrs. Before that I worked as a drug/alcohol counselor for the same organization.  I've had many other jobs in my life. I have worked as a Family Advocate for both the Head Start and Even Start programs. I 've worked in both a toy store and a shoe store. I've made solar panels, worked in the reservations department of a large hotel, been a receptionist, worked at Walmart and been a Home Health Aide. I think that I have finally found my niche and I intend to stay at this job until I retire.
