    The thing is, with my traumatic experience with dogs, I'm still scared of them (at 44) but I did try to get past it for the sake of my girls. However...I experienced the horror all over again when my daughter who was maybe 6 at the time was bitten by a dog and it left a distinctive set of dog teeth marks on her right butt cheek...not as horrifying as the face, but to me, it was like reliving the experience all over again. Daughter however got over it and loves dogs to this day...
