I'm Ashlie, proud wife of Daniel and SAHM to my two beautiful little girls.  Being a full-time mom is the best job I could ask for.  I love watching my girls grow and learn about the world around them.  We practice many aspects of attachment and natural parenting, including cloth diapering, babywearing, and gentle discipline.  While I feel that our parenting styles are the best for us, I'm open-minded and accepting to the styles of others.

So many people assume that just because you are a SAHM, you instantly become oblivious and ignorant to the world around you.  I am proud to combat that stereotype and remain an intelligent, educated, free-thinking woman.  I'm passionate about politics and have formed strong opinions on a variety of issues based on research I've done.  I also continue to educate myself on certain topics that truly interest me, such as religion (both eastern and western) and the criminal justice system in my state and country.

I'm also capable of having fun and relaxing, contrary to what many child-free people might think.  In my down time, I love going to concerts, writing, reading, taking bubble baths, and enjoying whatever weather we are experiencing on a given day.  I pride myself in being an optimistic, glass-half-full kind of person.  I try to find the good in everything, because this world has so many incredible things to offer us.
