  • Can't we all just get along?

    I am amazed at the arguing, and hateful remarks of so many women on CafeMom! I have left several groups because of it, and there is at least one more group that I have wittnessed really hateful sorts of replies, derogatory, argumentative replies...

    Aren't we all here, as mothers, to support each other.. to lovingly share what worked for us, or what didn't? Not to tear others down for their beliefs, or for opening their hearts, or for standing up for things that worked for them as parents...

     Isn't there enough drama and hate in the world???

    We live in Greensburg Kansas, which was destroyed by a tornado in May 2007. We are in the process of rebuilding our lives and our town, which will be a model green town. I homeschool our 9 year old ADHD son, and I am the website editor for a local non-profit organization called Greensburg GreenTown, at http://www.greensburggreentown.org. We work with people to help them find the knowledge and know-how to make green a part of their lives. I have also recently started a home based business involving environmentally friendly cleaners, and health and wellness products. My husband works for the City of Greensburg, and together we also throw papers 7 days a week! Whew! I really love my life!

    At the top of the page, in the drip down menus, click on Cafe mom - then Widgets. When you get to that page, click Cafemom in the sidebar... the chatterbox widget in on the 2nd or 3rd page... just click "add this widget"! :)

    I agree with your Can't we all just get along post. I think that too many moms on here want to argue with others. I think that if someone is having a bad day then they should talk about it and they would feel better. Arguing never makes anyone feel better.
