I am 36 yrs old, the mother of two daughters: Brianna who is 12 yrs old and Maggie who is 6 yrs old and I am married to David who has been in the Army for 12 1/2 yrs. We have been together for 9 yrs and are currently stationed at Fort Knox, KY. We spent 3 yrs at Ft Bliss, TX where my husband was deployed to Iraq for 14 months, which he only stayed for 10 months because I had a massive stroke in July 2007. I had 2 TIA's (mini-strokes) in October 2004 and had another TIA in July 2009 after my father passed away.  My speech, memory and facial muscles were affected and possible damaged permenantly. I do very well on typing on the computer and most times have no problem communicating verbally but sometimes I get things backwards or my words confused, so you can imagine it can get embarrassing sometimes. I am originally from Western KY (Hopkinsville) and was blessed to come back home to be close to my Daddy for the last year of his life. He passed away on May 18, 2009, and I am having a hard time adjusting to him being gone. I love to read, write, chat, sew, garden and do art and crafts. I attend PWOC here on post and I volunteer as a Daisy Troop Leader.  My husband and I like playing some videogames, mostly military.  We enjoy having BBQ's and hanging out and meeting new people. We have two dogs: Toby (a snoodle) is 4 yrs old and Hercules (a white lab) is 3 yrs old.  We also have two cats: Sarge is 5 yrs old and Charlie is 2 yrs old. About a month ago, we got a hamster and her name is Bejew. We are hoping to PCS (permanent change of station) soon to Ft Benning, GA or any place would be great!!
