About Becky :

I am a [just recently turned] 40 year old mother of 6 kids [3 bio, 3 step] ranging from 7 to 20 years old. My husband Bill and I have a blended family, and we have been happily married for almost 5 years. Our 5 youngest children live with us, and our oldest son lives in Wyoming.

I am currently a SAHM, learning to manage a house of 7 full time. It's a never-ending task. I have a degree in education and taught for 10 years.

I have the TV on most of the day, even though I don't "watch" it very much. I love Rosie O'Donnell and the View, and am an avid Nip/Tuck fan. My husband gets me addicted to shows I'd never watch on my own, like Ghost Hunters, Inked, and Dog the Bounty Hunter. From this, I could probably tell you anything you wanted to know about the history of WW I, WW II, Hitler, King Tut, and the Titanic, as I suffer through enjoy these with my husband almost nightly! Personally, I watch Law and Order and SVU. I've watched L&O since the very beginning. Roseanne reruns crack me up. God, it's sad that TV shows are my life.

I love computers and blogging, and have been on the 'net in some way since about 1994. I read either biographies or historical fiction, and love me some chick lit!

I'm currently not religious. I read a lot of agonistic/athiest discussions, but I don't think I can call myself either right now. "On a quest" is how I describe myself, for now. And I don't need any help, thanks! I frequent Julia Sweeney' forum for a lot of interesting insight.

I aspire to be....I'm not quite sure....but when I tell you, we'll all know. Right now, I'd just like to survive motherhood without too many gray hairs !
