Finally finished. I got wrapped up in a short NR series, fitting since it she is the AOTM, so I got a little sidetracked. Bitter was indeed funny. I am mentally formulating my post for the Book Club now.

I'm glad I read Persuasion...it was so good! I got the movie from the library so Bern and I watched it and she liked the story as well!! :) Now on to Hound of the Baskervilles for me!
