My name is Alicia, I am 21 years old.  I am married to the love of my life, Fred, and have the two most beautiful daughters in the world, Sophia and Vivian.  I am a "stay-at-home" mom, but I rarely have two minutes to do something as stereotypical as watching a soap opera.  In addition to maintaining my household and taking care of a 14 month old and a 2 month old, I also do daycare 3-4 days a week for a 16 month old girl and her 7 year old brother.  I sell things like books and random things online and am getting ready to start school this summer, so I am prepping for my placement tests by doing practice exams and studying.  I am also a soldier in the Colorado Army National Guard.  I drill one weekend a month and volunteer to help out several times a month.  I love it except being away from my girls for the overnights during drill weekends.  So "stay-at-home" mom is not really the right title for me!  Well that is me on paper!

 Now, sometimes I feel pretty lonely.  I spend the majority of my days in front of a computer at home and talking to babies.  By the time I have a minute for intelligent conversation, I am too exhausted to do it.  Most of my friends are single and childless.  They are also still into partying and drinking, promiscuity, drugs, etc.  Things that I, as a mother, soldier and responsible adult, can't and won't do.  I have literally been ostracized from my old group of friends and that is truthfully mostly my doing.  I am done with that phase of my life, and sadly that means that I needed to move on from those people.  My goal in joining this online community and going back to school are to make some friends with similar situations and values and goals.  Especially if they are in my age range.  I hope that my honesty does not repel you, my hope was that I would be truthful and that people would take that and know that I am a pretty decent individual.  Anyway, I would like to be friends so write to me!
