Ten things about me:

First and foremost, is that I am a born-again Christian. I am not perfect. I make mistakes, slip and even sometimes fall. But I am under Grace, and I am exceedingly thankful.

I am mommy to one precious little girl, who is as smart as she is funny, energetic and full of life.

My husband and I have been married since July 1992. We've had a lot of hurdles, some mountains and some valleys throughout our marriage. There were times when I think, both of us wondered whether it was "worth it" to continue on. But I am delighted to say that today, we love eachother more than the day we exchanged vows, and it is because of the hurdles, that we can present a stronger, united front.

We recently took a step out in Faith, and left the comforts of a secure inner city life and job, to make a move to the country, in a new state. We are learning to be more self-sufficent, growing our own food. We also have several chickens, but hope to add goats and other animals to our little farm.

I homeschool our daughter. There was never any question for us, as to whether this was the "right" thing to do. I always knew in my heart, that that is what God wanted us to do. I do believe anyone can homeschool, but I am not one to judge anyone's hesitations.

I am a person who is very easy to get along with. I like to make friends, like to chat, but have no room in my life for drama or vulgarity.

I am a mother, a wife, sister, daughter and friend. I am a human being, who feels, cries, hurts, and laughs like anyone else. I am ME. I am a work in progress.
