Hey everyone! I am 25 and currently have 2 bio kids (with another on the way) and 1 step daughter. My SO and I have our hands quite full as the kids are 7,6 and 5. I am due with a baby girl in late Feb 2014. We already have 2 girls and a boy.
I am friendly and the type of person that tries to put myelf in someone elses shoes before I say anything negative about what they are doing or have done. I know I have not always been perfect or made the best decisions in life.
I love to read and travel. I am also wanting to get more "crafty" but really do not know where to start with that. I can do cross stitch but it has been years and my skills were very basic. I would like to crochet or knit the baby on the way a few things but I'm not sure if those skills can be self taught.
I am from California where I had a very different upbringing I guess you could say. I kind of grew up on a hippie commune and though it is not a life I would choose as an adult to live full time I still hold alot of the values near and dear to my heart.
I enjoy a good debate/argument. I feel EVERYONE is entitled to their own opinion..no matter what it is..however I also feel that as adults, we should be able to discuss this calmly and rationally without name calling and low blowing.
I enjoy learning about different things from cultures, to religion to food to just about anything. If you live your life in an "un conventional" or non main stream way and I ask a question please do not be offended, it is because I really am curious and want to know.
I am kinda all over the place with my parenting "style". I fully support homebirth and if I would have been able to have one would have. I support extended breastfeeding but chose to formula feed my children. I buy organic when I can afford to, but its also not unheard of for my kids to have a can or spaghetti O's once in a blue moon for dinner. I support and practice extended rear facing and extended harnessing. I refuse to co sleep. period. no baby in my bed or even in my room. I baby wear (or did when they were little enough). well i guess that is about it. any questions feel free to ask!

Just dropping by to say "Hello". (I'm one of your friends). I love your personal statement by the way! So, from California and now live in Alabama, that is quite a change. Both beautiful places though. Have big plans for the weekend?
