Maybe she has a bit of acid reflux. Have you tried those Mycolin drops? We used them for both our kids and thought they helped. If it is acid reflux it won't prevent her from gaining weight but will make her very uncomfortable, which may be the reason she also screams in the carseat. Hope this helps.
