Personal Statement
I am 65 years old, mother to three wonderful sons, and an adopted Grandson, and my companion Lab named Coda. I have 7 Grandchildren, and on my birthday last year, I was blessed with my first Great Grandson! I haven't seen him yet but I do get almost daily pics. He lives in California. I have one (grand) son in Kansas, one son in Idaho, one son in Maine. My loving son Joe passed away on 2/28/09. He had also resided in California. I have 4 grandsons (5) and one grandaughter! I have been married to my lover and best friend John for 49 years short, in November. It gets pretty lonely for us without our kids. My husband and I are alone now and neither one of us is very well, but we plug away every day. I don't know how I found Cafe Mom because I don't "do" the chat rooms, but I did. I feel like I am home when I am here. Everyone is special. This probably is not a real good message but I am not good at writing about myself. If any of you are curious or want to know anything else about me, please ask!
