The Animal Rescue Site donates food to animal rescue shelters!

Once at The Animal Rescue Site, simply click on the purple box that says "Click Here to Give - It's FREE!" Each click adds .6 bowls of food! I know it doesn't sound like much, but it DOES add up, and there is a Daily Results page where you can see how much! They even have a PURPLE PAW online store that sells pet related items.

Here is a fun VOCABULARY BUILDING GAME that I learned about from my daughters English teacher. For each word you get right, they donate 20 grains of rice to help end world hunger! This game is so addictive that the grains add up really fast! How many grains of rice are there in one bowl, anyway? There is a Totals page where you can see how much they've given since they started on 10/07/07!

I am a working mother with 2 teenage daughters, and 2 dogs. My husband and I own a home in Southern California. Currently we strive to handle the changing attitudes of the girls as they grow and attend high school - chores, dating, priorities, studying, future, driving, friends. Previous challenges that I have faced in my life include parental abandonment, loss of a parent, spousal abuse, divorce, cheating, and alcoholism (just to name a few).
