Personal Statement
I didn't get married until I was 34 and when I did, we raised my husbands son, Brian, from 12 to 17 years old. Those were difficult years, but I still wanted a child of my own. When I finally convinced my husband, it just didn't happen. A couple years later, we became foster parents and ended up adopting 1 of our foster children. He is now 14 and back to the public school after being home schooled part of 6th & 7th grade. It's a good school, 1 mile away and they were uniforms! I work full time in Accounting, which is what I have my degree in. The 2 other children I have listed in my profile, are our grandchildren, Brian's children. I am a "Born Again" believing Christian, which means I'm saved by the blood of Jesus Christ.
