I am a mother of twins; they will be 11 soon. Up until a few months ago, I have been a single mother. Recently, we have become a family and I also have a 5 y/o step son (which is a totally different situation for me). It's weird, not being the ONLY boss - and making all the decisions; but it's also a relief to not be the only boss, etc!  Their father split when they were 6 months old, so I was truely a single mother. They haven't seen him since then; and I haven't heard from him. We have had hard times financially; but more important, we've had great times emotionally. My boys kept me grounded over the years and kept me laughing. I am truely blessed by their laughter and happiness. I have learned more over the last 11 years than ever in my life. I am thankful for the way things have progressed, and I wouldn't change a thing.
