Congratulations on your job! That's funny your so fascinated. It's more German/Norweigan heritage up here but it’s gotten really diverse since I was a kid. The 2 dishes well known up here are knoephla soup and lefsa. My mom grew up in s. california, so I grew up eating a wide variety of foods. There's tons of outdoor things to do. Hunting, fishing, camping, sports, swimming, etc. It's hard to describe it up here because everything is so normal to me.

Thanks! I'm hoping to go on to get my bachelor's after I get my associate's. So far it's been chilly up here. Hard to switch the kids' clothes from winter to summer when we go from 50 degrees to 70 degrees. And some mornings will be 40 degrees then it'll be mid 70's in the afternoon. I really like the town I live in - not TOO big, but not too small. There's a wide variety of activities for kids to do. How about you?

Thanks for stopping by my homepage. Saw your personal statement, are you starting to feel better? My PPD started the day I got home from the hospital. TG for my hubby, he helped me get through the rough patches. 7 months later I am still adjusting to being a SAHM, I guess it will take some time :) Oh and sleep, havent had much for that since insomnia kicked in around 3rd trimester and now well its hard to get much sleep with a LO :)
