I came across this site from myspace and thought I'd give it a go.  I'm a mom to a wonderful 10 year old boy and step-mom to a darling 3 year old girl.  I sometimes feel like a psuedo-mom for some 20ish 6 and 7 year old kids during the school year in my 1st grade class. 

I'm Native American and spent my first 12 years of life on and right off the Rez.....unfortunately, I've spent the rest of it way to far away from it.  I'm pagan and reaching a point of comfort that I don't care what other people think about that.  Being  a teacher I've often shyed about from being very open...but I'm tempted to ask to say a blessing during on of our gatherings since someone almost always says a prayer before we eat even though it's a public school.

I've experienced ADD/ADHD from a variety of directions.  My son was diagnoised 3 years ago, my husband 7 years ago, and myself a year ago.  Let me tell you....life in our home is NEVER dull....lol.  It also gives me insight to my students that can be very helpful and give me an infinite amount of patience.

I'm sure if I thought about it, I could babble on and on...but I think I'll end it here.  Just hoping to meet a few new friends and chat it up a bit.
