I am a mom, a wife, a woman, a sometimes artist, a knitter, a seamstress, a gardener, a chef, a memoir lover, a thrifter, a reuser/recycler/reducer/repurposer/redoer, a collector, a fan of Hayao Miyazaki and indie films, a student of life, an animal lover and a work in progress. I am smart, strong, funny, sarcastic, earthy, loving, warm hearted, healthy, goofy, wise, huggable. I love the smell of cinnamon rolls, babies, pot roast cooking and orange spice tea; the sounds of noisy good friends and listening to my kids read and sing; art supplies, stacks of books wating to be read, my kids' paintings hanging on the wall, handknit blankets, furry lap cats, fuzzy doggies, and comfy chairs. Add in a kiss from my hunka and I'm good to go.

Thanks Holly...you know I try to forget it too, it's just since this is the first Christmas without her, and this is the first real loss my girlies have gone through...it's very hard on them. I guess I should be thankful the they have no problem showing their emotions huh ~ lol. Thanks again for the hugs!
Love ya!

Just seriously missing mom-in-law...feeling ripped off for my girls...they only have one grandparent left Holly...that's sad! Some days are better than others, but since the Christmas decorations came out the girls (especially Jessie) are really feeling it. Nan has been with us all but one Christmas since the girls were born...sigh. Thanks for asking!!
