Hi all.I have been married to my HS sweetheart for 19 yrs.It was love at first site.We dated 1 yr & broke up for17 yrs, a marriage ea, 2 kids ea & a divorce ea. We then saw each other at a fast food play ground of all places. He with his 2 boys, me with my 2 girls.  At that chance meeting we KNEW our lives had changed forever. We did date for 2 yrs & married when the kids were 4,5,6 & 7.  I am a retired ER nurse, I also did many "corporate" health management things so I was always able to adjust my schedule so that I could be in my girls schools.  I love to bake from scratch, but can't cook "real" food at all.  My daughters did not return home after college so we are emptynester's.  We decided to downsize our large house, but it ended up all we did is spread out into a one story with a ROG, Lg sun room, and in-ground pool.  Seems like more work than the other house, but it is all on one floor.  Both of my parents are 80 years old and healthy.  They are total night owls.  It is not unusual for me to call their house at 11:45pm and they not be home, they will be out playing cards, or at an all night restaurant getting a 'snack".  And they do not sleep in,  they were both raised in NC on farms.  I wish they lived closer. I have no family here in VA Beach even though I have lived here my whole life.  I love, love ,love to plan weddings and events.  After I retired from my job I volunteered at a Bridal shop.  I just naturally have a good eye for that line of work.  My husbands Aunt owns a florist, and I also help her, so I have that part down too.  And when it comes to etiquette, I am the queen.  I don't always follow it, but I know it.  If I could I would open a business and do it for free.  And the last thing I will share is I am a certified marriage & family counselor with specialty in preschool  and school age behavior.  I Look forward to getting to know you.
