I am a single mom of an aspiring ballerina. My daughter has been dancing since she was 3 and can't get enough of it - her ballet barre is in the living room!  I am a lifetime member of Girl Scouts. I lead an awesome group of Junior Girl Scouts. I love reading and will read almost anything. I work in manufacturing for a major consumer goods company. I have been off work for over a year due to thoracic outlet syndrome. I have returned to school to finish my bachelor's in English with plans to get my teaching certificate to teach high school English. I  just recently found the Harry Potter fandom - have loved the books for years from when I read the first one to my daughter before we saw the first movie. I was hooked - although for the longest time, she was the bigger fan. However, I think I have surpassed her in our HP obsession (she splits her time between HP and dance). I have just recently found the whole on-line universe - and I'm thouroughly addicted. I have gone over the edge with the final countdown for the last Harry Potter book! I seem to be almost obsessed with the countdown.
