My name is Danielle. I am a 27 yr old first time mom to a beautiful girl named Deborah Ann. She was born at 721pm on May 14th, 2007. She weighed 8 lbs, 6 ozs, and was 20 inches long. She was a week late so I was induced. My husband, Mark, and I have been together since 2000, and married since October 2005. He is a plumber and I am currently a SAHM. I'll need to go back to work for a little while to supplement our income, especially until he gets his offical license later this year. ( which means a minimum of $10/hr raise ). We live in Chicago. We want to find a house in the next few years and probably have another kid or two.(EDIT(5/08): I am pregnant with baby #2, and it's a GIRL! lol) Someday we would like to move to California to live there and raise our children there. Chicago is too cold for us. We also appreciate the political changes that have started there. We are interested in child-lead parenting, we are interested in the benefits of raising our daughter vegan, and we want to begin living a greener life ourselves. We are looking for area with where there better jobs opportunities for my husband, somewhere where they don't get laid off for 4 months during the winter due to the cold, icy weather. And maybe then i can take the kids outside more often, not just in the summer(which amounts to 2 1/2 months here)!!

EDIT: (07/08) I am 7 months pregnant with another girl, who's due in september. Debbie is now 14 months old and VERY ACTIVE! She loves to run around and climb EVERYTHING! LOL. She's a gem though. Wouldn't trade anything in the world for her, and her beautiful spirit. She keeps me smiling all day, sometimes shaking my head in dismay too, lol.
