I've been called many things... hippie, headbanger, freak, rebel, Anglophile, drama queen, hilarious, small but mighty (and surprisingly strong), bleeding heart, brutally honest, crazy-ass bitch, moody, stubborn, maddeningly difficult, fag hag, Def Leppard freak, a softy with a huge heart... and I have to admit it's all true. I'm also a steadfast friend, open-minded, and I wear my heart on my sleeve. I (almost) never hide my feelings, which gets me into trouble sometimes, but at least everyone always knows where they stand with me! Basically, I'm a singer with a day job, one beautiful son, one awesome husband, three cats, eight tattoos, three nephews and three nieces.          

About Liam, my son... he's the most awesome, happy boy in the universe! After 10 LONG years of heartbreak and grief, this is the child we've prayed for. We've been blessed in our adoption process with the most wonderful Birthmom (and FRIEND!) EVER. We were at the hospital for his birth, which was the most beautiful (and nerve-wracking!) exerience of my life! I will never forget the moment the nurse handed him to me and said "Here ya go, Mom!" I fell in love that instant, and I could not love him more if I had given birth to him myself!!!!
