    We're okay. Just feeling alittle alone in the struggle. The moms i know are young and i think 40+ adds a different perspective. What do you think?

  • Personal Statement

    I am a preschool teacher and a wife and mother.  I have two dogs whom I adore and love hanging out at home with my family.  We are fairly new to this parenting thing and at age 40 I am finding it as challenging as it is rewarding.  We love to go to Disney World every year and recently took our son for the first time.  We had a blast. My husband amazes me because as a brand new parent at age 50 he has taken to it like a duck to water.  He loves being a dad.  I love being a mom, too, it's just that toddlerhood is way different than infancy and I tend to get a little overwhelmed.  My son is 22 months old now.  He is a cutie pie but definately a very busy boy.  I could use some chit chat with other moms going thru this time.
