  • Personal Statement

    I live in Columbia, Maryland, whichis 15-20 minutes south of Baltimore and 30-45 minutes north of Washington D.C. My husband accepted a job at one of the local universities and we packed up our house in Florida, our 3 year old son, our 1 year old daughter and our dog, Pepper, to move to a town where I know NO ONE. In Florida I lived 10 minutes away from my family and now I am a stay at home mom doing it all on my own. My husband occasionally was to work long hours and it has been hard finding friends in this strange land. I am meeting other stay-at-home moms through my local MOMS Club and I have made a few friends. I am learning a lot about being a stay-at-home mom and I am enjoying it very much. My mommy motto: PICK YOUR BATTLES!!!

    Hi. I'm emailing all the people that live near me to help me with a problem. Since my husband just has to be in a band (he plays drums), I am trying to find him one that is closer to our house. We live in Columbia. The problem is, his band is over an hour away and an hour back which takes too much time away from his family.

    I want him closer.

    Do you know of a band that needs a drummer?
