  • Personal Statement

    I am a 38 yr old wife, mom, and grandma. 

    I am very opionated, full of energy, set in my ways, giving, moody, outgoing, loving, and very emotional. 

    I have 3 children.

    I have struggled with depression all of my life.  I was molested as a child.  I found out I had cervical cancer after my youngest child. Since that time, I have had 3 sugeries.  All of the cancer was removed with my first surgery (Thank God), but I have had to have two other surgeries to remove very painful masses, that have developed on leftover ovairan cells that were left behind.

    I think I am a very strong women.  I also feel very blessed.   I have not had to go thru any chemo, or radiation treatment. 

    I do not know if I will have to have any more surgeries or not.  I do know that I just live life as it comes to me.  I work, I take care of my children, I try to be the best person that I can, and live life day by day.

    aww thank you for sharing your story with me.I am so happy you've been clean for 6 years,sometimes it just takes a wakeup call.I pray to god she changes before its to late.

    Thanks for the reply to my journal post. That rips my heart out to hear stories like the one about your cousin. Your family is in my prayers, as are the lawmakers so they can turn around this justice system so the real criminals get sent to prison
