Hi ladies!

I am already overwhelmed with the welcome I've got so far on this site!  Thanks!

First I have to say that I am not a mom yet but I think I have a lot to offer to all moms out here so I thought I should join.  Plus I do intend to become a mom soon so when "things" happen, I'll be asking for advice!

Even though I am not the mom of my own kids yet, I have been part mom, part friend/ part confidante / part authority to a lot of kids of all ages as I was a teacher for 17 years.  To this date, I still receive news from former students and it's very humbling.

So I have a lot of experience dealing with kids so you might find that I can be useful for you.  I am very good at getting kids to open up and get motivated and generally get better at school.  If you want to know more about this and my book, you can watch this short TV interview I did recently: http://www.cayman27.com.ky/news/item/1529

When I am not doing this, I also work part time with a great nutrition company called AGEL, who invented Gel Suspension Technology.  We have amazing gel packs that taste like treats but that are actually good for you.  Kids love them too and learn about eating well and livng a healthy life at the same time.  It enabled me to feel the best I ever felt in my life, to concentrate on what I am really good at and to hang out with great people.  Let me know if you are curious!
