What is there to know about me?

I love sci-fi tv/movies and ethnic food. (M... Greek, Thai, Mexican.....)

I hate being bored. I can handle a lot of things, but boredom drives me batty.

I love to read. I'm that person in the line at the bank or eating lunch in the fast food place with a book in my hand.

I love to write. I want to be a writer someday, which makes the reading necessary and the writing vital!

I work in fundraising for children's organizations and in my spare time (although.... HA HA! What spare time do I have as a divorced mom of two school aged boys???) I also campaign for charitiable causes through my favorite fandom, Supernatural.

I think Harry Potter is about bravery in the face of adversity and is great fantasy fiction. I think people get too worked up over what it means. To paraphrase Sigmund Freud, sometimes a book is just a book.

I think Jensen Ackles is gorgeous and Jared Padalecki has great hands. I also think they make great brothers. I'd love to meet (or meet again) them both!

I like to listen to my Zune player and I don't care if you think my taste in music sounds like chaos. I think you can play Led Zeppelin after Ray Charles. Or Aerosmith and Van Morrison, followed by a little India Arie. My ears, my choice.

I want to see the world before I'm too old to appreciate it. I don't understand some people who are happy to never leave home, or their home country. Oh well, I have a wanderlust. Deal with it.

I'm Wiccan and I don't care if you think that's wierd. I think it's wierd to judge people based on a stereotype that's shown on TV or movies. I promise not to judge you by pop culture references if you promise to do the same.

I think if you never expand your horizons, you've wasted your precious time on Earth. What bigger insult to your Creator than to fail to recognize and appreciate the scale of the Creation?!? (Or, you know - if you're only gonna go 'round once.. why not make it worthwhile?!?)

I believe Shakespeare had it right when he wrote, "To thine own self be true." You can spend a lifetime trying to be the person other people will appreciate and approve and end up unable to face the one in the mirror.
