After 2 failed IVF's we decided adoption was best for us. February 2007 - met with agency April 2007 - agency orientation May 2007 - completed home study and personal profile book August 2007 - selected by the biological mom September 2007 - he came to live with us February 2008 - finalization!!! We are now the happy parents of an awesome 4 year old boy who was in the foster care system since the age of 8months through 2 1/2 years old. We have a very open adoption agreement for 4 visits a year with both biological parents, and visit with biograndparents and cousins as well as the foster family. We talk to 3 generations on the phone reguarly, post photos and video on YouTube and mail pictures and letter to over 12 biological relatives.
