i am 40 and happily married to my hubby, leo.  i have 3 kids from a previous marriage.  very long story, but at this point i only have contact with my oldest son.  i am praying for a restoration with the other two. we have 3 (of the four-legged type) kids, cleo, odie and ruby.

i am into all things that are good for you--that covers a large area- and what's good for you, might not be good for me and vice versa! i am in college and going into nursing.  i do enjoy the beach, trees, birds, basically the outdoors. i adore red wine! i was born and raised on a harley and love ridin'. i love to laugh and listen to all types of music, although at this point in my life, "happy" songs are what i want to listen too.

i have had many different experiences in my 40 years on earth. the most significant though, is the encounter i had with Jesus on Ocotber 10,2001. i was released from my raging addiction to methamphetamines without any relapses or rehab, instantly.... i have been clean since !!  i do not know the reason why i was released from my addiction like i was, but i do know that i have to tell my story to others.

we are, FINALLY, moved into our new home-- it's amazing. I wake up every morning, praising God for living here. we have the beach less than 8 minutes away-- with the world's best tide pools too!! when the tide is out, you can see a shipwreck that is something like a hundred years old, explore old WWII bunkers and even camp right there.  at night, we are serenaded by the frogs who live down below us in the swamps ( i LOVE to hear them, but would freak if they get too close-LOL). since the summer months, we have had deer bedding down in our yard!  so, i have been feeding them  +)  i just want them to know this is a safe place to be. my hubby has decided we will be buying hay through the winter months to keep the deer too! 

you might be wondering about all of the black capped chickadees on my profile. they are a special bird-- they have a unique call that i heard one day while dating my hubby. the call, to me, sounds like "leo did it".... leo is my hubby's name =)  when i was left alone during the first year of our marriage, i always heard the call outside and felt comforted, i know i am really weird! i didn't even know what the bird looked like until leo sent me a picture he found.  now ya know =)
