I’m the mother of 3 crazy boys! I’ve been married to my sailor for 11 years, 10 days longer than he has been in the Navy. We have 2 dogs & 3 snakes (my husband is weird) I went back to school about a year ago to get my teaching degree & I am so excited to tell everyone I know. It has taken me 10 yrs to get to do this for myself. Between having a family & moving around with the Navy, I haven’t had the chance to do this until now, but the timing is perfect for our family.

We are just beginning a new chapter in our lives.  My husband was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in August 2008.  So he has been honorably discharged from the US Navy for medical reasons.  We have recently moved to Ohio to begin a new life.  We really like it here (so far) & it is much closer to our family!!  Sometime in the next 6 months we will be buying our first home.  It's a little weird to think about settling down somewhere since we have never been able to do that!  So that's me in a nutshell! 

My boys keep me going! I am a cub scout leader for my middle son & involved in my oldest ones cub scout den. We are nearing the end of baseball, only to have soccer signups! My 2 oldest both have ADHD, but are coping wonderfully. Please feel free to ask any questions, I am always happy another family deal with the issues that come with this!

We are getting ready for our last move with the Navy!! We will be going to Norfolk in the fall. And DH will only be on the ship for 16 months & then we are getting out! We are happy to have done our time, but feel it is time for our family to get out! The boys are not happy about moving from here, but we will have been here for 4.5 years.
