I am a mother of three children. Austin who is 10, Ethan who is 8, and Skyla my little girl who is 4. I have been divorced for 3 years now. I now have a boyfriend who my kids actually like! My oldest son is becoming a teenager all at once. You know the famous I am 10 but going on 20 stage. I am having a hard time dealing with the fact my kids are getting older and are mouthy and dont listen to me very well. I am looking for some advice or tips on things other parents have tried. The good old fashion grounding does not seem to be working. Taking game systems and that sort of thing does not work as well. I struggle everyday to find the answers every parent looks for. I do not watch much TV. But I do whoever watch LOST. I also love Dr.Phil. I am too busy to get into any shows. My kids go with there dad every weekend because of shared parenting. My children and I recently moved 45 minutes from our home town to get away from some drama, which I am learning where-ever you go there's still drama!! I am looking to meet other moms to talk about new things and vent. Lets face it every parent needs to vent!! Especially single parents!! I strive to make sure my kids have the best things possible in life to have better than I did. I want to make sure they grow up into responsible adults with a bright future. Nothing comes before my kids ever.
