I'm a single woman who is just finishing her master's degree. I haven't found the right man with whom I can have children and I won't settle for just anyone. I really want to be a mother and I am hoping that I can see that dream come true through private adoption.. I would love to have a son or daughter.  Race and ethniticy are not issues for me and since I am a Spanish speaker, I would very much welcome a child of Hispanic background.

I was a teacher for 7 years before I went back to school to get a degree in Counseling/College Student Personnel. I was the career development director at a small, liberal arts, women's college for almost 4 years. Now I teach GED and English as a Second Language at a community college. I love it! I  get to work with people of all ages, ethnicities, cultures, social classes and religions.

I have a very close knit family who still spends holidays together playing games and laughing, not to mention eating all the great PA Dutch specialties. We very much want to welcome a new baby into our family. I am the oldest of three and the oldest grandchild on both sides of my family. I am also the only one that it not married! I'm the first to graduate from college on both sides of the family as well.

I spend time doing crafts, cooking, reading, singing and dancing (badly) around the house and my favorite place to be is outside getting dirty in the yard and flower beds. My mother always hated that! I hope to teach my child to appreciate what the earth has to offer and to be conscious of what we do to impact our world.
