 to curl up in a chair with a good book, especially on a rainy or cold day

 to walk in the woods alone, or hike the cliffs above the river with my husband and son.

watching the mother deer and fawn in the field outside my dining room window

cooking a meal and watching family and friends enjoy eating it

chatting with my sister via email since we live so far apart now
