tMom of four children. Ages 5 (Elijah) , 8 (Natasia), 11 (Monica) and 13 (Charlie). The thirteen year old is my step-son whom my husband and I are raising (we have had him for three years).
My five year old has Bipolar Disorder, Mood Disorder, ADHD, Cognitive Disorder, possible ODD... In special ed.

Go Mom! Don't give up the fight for your son. I get so tired of schools that want to blame someone for a childs behavior, instead of helping the child with their special needs. Not all schools/teachers are like that, but I have dealt with a few that are. I am proud of you for all you do and will pray for you and your son.

Hi: My heart aches for you and your son. I was reading your posts and can't help but wonder how is he handeling the thought of going into a hospital. Is he aware of what's happening? Hey, if you ever need to talk...send me a message. I wish you good luck on such a difficult decision to make between your kids. I have a son with ADHD, who is 5, and also has a high sensory need, has some behavioral and social issues and has been classified as learning disabled. It's really tough as a mom to be thrown all that information and not think...wth did I do wrong?
