I have been a widow for 7 years.  I have 2 children, my son is 21 and in college and my daughter is 15 going on 30 and is Sophomore in High School.  I am probably like any other single parent, struggling to make ends meat to ensure that my children have a good clean life.  I don't complain much though because I would do it over and over again for my kids.

I struggle mainly with my self esteem and appearance.  My marriage was not a healthy one and I feel like when my husband died, he took my soul with him and I just cant get it back.  I am overweight and want to do something about it.  Thats why I was glad to find this site so that I can see that I am not the only person in this world that feels the way that I do. I hope to make new cyber friends and find the support I need in the areas I lack in.
