Things I've learned as I have gotten older

1) Life should be lived to the fullest and older we get, the more we need to enjoy it. Getting older does not mean life is destined to become boring!        

2) There is far too much drama in the world and not enough comedy.

3) Take things as they come and do the best that you can with what you've been given.

4) NEVER under-estimate the importance of family.

5) Don't take yourself to seriously, learn to laugh.

6)  Learn new things, explore new places, a stagnant mind will rot.

7) Learn to forgive and to let it go. Harboring anger will just make you bitter.

8) Learn to compromise and be flexible.

9) Focusing on others will help you be less likely to wallow in self pity.

10) Care about your world and those around you.
