I am 34 years old and currently live in Tampa, Florida with my husband of 8 years and our 3 children.  We have a son, Jordan, who is 5 and another son, Justice, who is 2.  I also have a step-daughter, Sydney, who is 12.  My oldest son has some behavioral issues and my youngest son has some speech/oral delays with possible Sensory Integration Disorder.  My step-daughter has ADHD, but is doing very well now that she is stable on her medication.  As you can imagine, our household is very busy...

I have been a Therapist for the past 12 years working with adolescents/children with mental health and behavioral issues and adults with severe mental health issues.  I specialize in clients with Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, or engage in self-injurious behaviors, but have also worked with adults and children in crisis, homeless adults, and adults/children with psychotic disorders, depression, anxiety, etc.  I am currently working on obtaining my license to become a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and just need to complete the state exam.  I am currently unemployed due to a work-related injury and the resulting medical issues but previously worked at a therapeutic group home/residential program for children/adolescents with severe mental health and behavioral issues (including past abuse, trauma, substance use, etc.).  I am hoping to start my own private practice doing counseling with children/adolescents, adults, and families.  I enjoy helping others and spend a lot of time online researching new methods of helping people cope with stressors and mental health issues.
