My name is Julia I live in Rome, GA. I am the mother of 4 boys. The oldest is actually my stepson, Chance, will be 14 this December. MY oldest, Tristen, will be 9 in May, Middle, Reyse, will be 6 in October and my youngest, Landing, will be 3 in December. I have raised my stepson since he was 2, his mother really has nothing to do with him.

    I will be 27 in April, I had Tristen a month after I turned 18. It has been hard, but only because I have worked hard to make my boys polite, respectful young men. Their teachers always brag about how well mannered they are. It kills people to hear them say pardon me and maam/sir. They go out of their way to open the door for any woman, it's so cute. My husband is to thank for half of it. He tries to instill good values into them. He is very strict on their speech! Since we are a mixed couple, (he is black and I am white) most people assume that our children will talk with slang. I hate stereotyping! Those people soon find out how well mannered and polite they are and how "proper " their speech is.
