My son, Kael, is my world! It is so fun being a mom, challenging, fulfilling, wonderful. It is truly everything I ever thought it would be and more. If the first 8 month were this great... I can't wait to see what the years will bring us. 

I'm in the process of getting divorced which is not where I thought my life would be headed shortly after having a baby! But that's life. My husband and I were married for 5 years, and Kael is our only child. Sometimes I wonder if we'd have gotten a pet would we have gotten divorced sooner? JUST KIDDING... it does seem that the responsibility of being a parent and husband was too much for him, so it's all been left up to me. It can be kind of overwhelming at times, which is why I'm on CafeMom: to make friends, get a little encouragement, give encouragement when I can, and just make myself the best mommy I can be.
