Here's the thing.  I just try to do my absolute best every day and be honest with the people around me.  I love my husband, all the kids under my roof, my animals, and our creator.  I teach band and choir in a small, rural, mostly Hispanic school district.  The things I love to do, and which make me who I am, are: knitting, weaving, sewing, reading, and cooking.  I'm trying to get and stay in shape by running.  Did I mention I love to knit? I play piano, too, for my choir students, mostly country songs but I can also play the Charlie Brown song.   People think I'm sweet and quiet when they first meet me, but later are surprised to find out I have the capacity to be blunt and opinionated.  I firmly believe that all stories are true, and that some of them actually happened.  The core of my Christian faith is this:  Jesus said to love one another.  Period.  No more needs to be said.
