I am a 38 year old Mom of 1 special needs former preemie with cerebral palsy (now a whopping and moody 12 years old!) who is homeschooled. He is very involved in boy scouts (as is the hubby), loves to swim, bike, play video games and dreams of being an engineer like his dad. (still trying to figure out what I did right with that kid). I've had fertility issues and pregnancy loss (a preemie we lost at 27 weeks along 2 years before our son who was also a 27 weeker).

In 2011 I (finally!) finished my college degree, and have been happily married for almost 15 years (we met as teenagers 19 years ago). Recently, though, my 37 year old hubby was diagnosed with a grade 2 brain cancer so we are doing the chemo/radiation/etc thing.

Rounding out the family is our new puppy Tyberius (a welsch gorgie/blue heeler mix) named after a certain star ship captain (the hubby is a huge geek & star trek fan).

When I manage to get some time to myself (ha!) I love to crochet, make cards, cook, read, and go camping. And all 3 of us are ham radio operators.
