  • Personal Statement

    My husband and I moved to Morrison, Il, my hometown about 6 mos ago. We were living in Nashville, Tn, but the slow paced small town life was calling us back. I love photography, stained glass, rollerderby, beer, grilling and hanging out with friends.We have twin sons that were born on 3-12-07 but did not live. They were born prematurely due to twin to twin transfusion syndrome. That is where one twin gets too much blood (recipient)and the other not enough(donor). Waylon (my recipient) went into heart failure which caused me to go into labor. We named them Waylon and Jesse, our little cowboys. It has been the hardest thing I have ever been through and my husband is probably the only reason I survived through it. We went on to have a healthy baby boy in April 2009, just 15 min after my b-day. He has been such a joy to have! My husband and I have been married for 7 years.
